Right Handed Bias
Although left handers have been treated unfairly and even persecuted in the past, we would like to think that they are treated as equals among us today. Sadly, this is not true as they are fighting the fact that they are vastly outnumbered by right handers. A lot of the modern biases are rooted in the economics and methods of modern manufacturing. After all, if you are going to manufacture something we are going to target the 90 percent of the population that are right handed and not worry about the left-over 10 percent.
Some of the items that make life harder on left handers are school desks with the table and arm rest on the right, rifles and pistols that eject shells into the face of people using them in a left-handed grip, and hand tools that block the view of left handed users or force them to assume awkward positions while using them. That is just the beginning of the list which can go on with cameras, musical instruments, kitchen implements, and hundreds of other items that right handers use without even considering how they were designed with right handers in mind.
